While it may be spring, the dismal weather is keeping us curled up inside. What better thing to do while listening to the rain fall at the window than play a cosy game on the Switch?

If the Stardew Valley PC update isn’t keeping you occupied, and you’re looking for a new cosy game to play, a few are coming out this month.

From a puzzler game for cat fans, to an exploration game for plant lovers, cosy gamers are in for several treats in April.

Cats Organized Neatly

Cats Organized Neatly will appeal to fans of puzzlers — and, well, cats. Players are tasked with stacking cats of all shapes and sizes (neatly) in boxes across 80 relaxing yet challenging levels.

Originally released on PC in 2020, Cats Organized Neatly is now making its way to the Switch.

Its players love the soundtrack and meow sound effects, with reviewers calling the game “cute” and “life-changing”.

Cats Organized Neatly will be available on the Nintendo Switch on April 4 for £2.29.

Botany Manor

Botany Manor is an exploration puzzle game in which gamers play as Arabella Greene, a retired botanist who must inspect clues to find the plants’ ideal habitats.

They’ll learn about Arabella’s life and career while they explore the beautiful gardens and warm interiors of Botany Manor.

Botany Manor will be available on the Nintendo Switch on April 9 for £22.49.

Leafy Trails

Leafy Trails is a walking simulator game about a fox, set in beautiful locations such as forests and meadows.

The gameplay, with its wordless narrative, is described as being “meditative” and “relaxing”.

Leafy Trails will be available on the Nintendo Switch on April 10 for £2.24.

Sophia the Traveler

Fans of Where’s Wally are sure to be curious about Sophia the Traveler, a game in which they’ll be challenged to spot hidden characters and objects in hand-painted scenes of Italy.

The game developers say Sophia the Traveler will take players on a “wholesome journey” exploring Venice’s history and culture.

Sophie the Traveler will be available on the Nintendo Switch on April 11 for £7.10.

Moonglow Bay

Moonglow Bay sees gamers take on the role of a rookie angler tasked with improving their fishing skills and restoring their town’s community.

The game is set in a picturesque environment with a voxel art style and looks very cute and cosy.

Moonglow Bay will be available on the Nintendo Switch on April 11 for £16.86.
