You may not recognise them yet but these young British actors are tipped to become superstars.

The hotlist has been drawn up by movie industry magazine Screen International - whose previous Stars of Tomorrow have included Robert Pattinson, Emily Blunt, James McAvoy, Rebecca Hall, Dominic Cooper and Gemma Arterton - and it includes several Londoners.

Among them are 18-year-old Douglas Booth, from Greenwich, who is about to appear in movie comedy LOL opposite Miley Cyrus and Demi Moore.

Booth has also landed the role of Pip in a forthcoming BBC production of Great Expectations and will play Romeo in a big-screen version of Romeo And Juliet written by Julian Fellowes.

Toby Regbo, from Hammersmith, will appear as a young Dumbledore in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - Part 2. The 19-year-old will then star as Jim Hawkins in Sky's Treasure Island.

Phoebe Fox, 24 and from Chiswick, only graduated from Rada last year but has a number of stage credits and is about to star in the National Theatre's There Is A War.

Joe Cole, 22, has written three episodes of a comedy drama with Little Britain's Matt Lucas, in which he also stars. The Kingston actor appeared in ITV1's drama Injustice last month. They are pictured with Northern Irish actress Antonia Campbell-Hughes, 28.

Also on the list is Peckham's John Boyega, 19, who burst onto cinema screens this year in the acclaimed comedy horror Attack The Block. He is about to appear in low-budget feature Junkheads with Eddie Marsan and Romola Garai.

Vanessa Kirby, from Wimbledon, gets a mention. The 19-year-old is due to take a role in Great Expectations after a busy year on the stage.

Another tipped actor is Sebastian Armesto, 28, who this summer appears in the National Theatre's A Woman Killed With Kindness.

Mike Goodridge, editor of Screen International, said they "will go on to do great things".
