Wes Craven co-wrote this remake of the 2001 Japanese techno-horror hit, Kairo.
The result is Scream with lashings more eye-liner and a lot fewer laughs.
A campus wi-fi portal allows underworld spirits to prey on unsuspecting students.
The teens bear an uncanny resemblance to underwear models. They say things like: "I'm ready to know!" and "Where's your server?"
I checked my pulse at the end of the film. It was not racing.
