The animation in this Michel Ocelot film is about as far from the realms of Disney, or even Pixar, as it is possible to get.

The telling of its tale about two North African children, one the son of a nobleman, the other the son of the nanny looking after them, is not so hot, as the would-be brothers try to rescue a Djinn fairy from a castle that's turned into a lavish prison.

However, the film's beauty makes it worth a look, inspired as it is by, among other things, Persian miniatures.
