Abduction - review

From teen to mean: Twilight’s Taylor Lautner reinvents himself as an action hero
10 April 2012

Here's a mostly daft, sometimes cheesily entertaining attempt by buff, baby-faced Taylor Lautner - aka Twilight's Jacob - to rebrand himself as a solo action hero.

In a plot line which begs and borrows from the Bourne franchise troubled teen Nathan suddenly finds his suburban existence is a sham. Even stern therapist Dr Geraldine (Sigourney Weaver) may not be what she seems ... Lautner and his team make a few concessions to his sensitive female fan-base but are basically trying to impress the big boys.

Soon Nathan's driving a fast car and fighting off wicked secret agents. Some movies are hard to spoof.

This one's Taylor-made.
