A night out that Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss enjoyed in London has been recreated in a pair of paintings on show at a Mayfair gallery.

The two women photographed hitting the town in 2014 inspired artist Merlin Carpenter for his solo show, which runs until January 18 at Simon Lee Gallery in Berkeley Street.

Among the five works in the exhibition are a surreal image of novelist JG Ballard walking a mallard duck, and a supertanker floating through the sky.

Each painting is for sale at the same price of $84,000 (£65,000).
