The Standard's Business and Technology Correspondent, Simon Hunt, tries out a new chip which can be embedded in your fingernail.

It’s been developed by a Swiss company called Smart Chip and the payments infrastructure has been designed by a British FinTech, called DIGISEQ.

It’s not available on the market yet but they are hoping to release a prototype later this year.

According to a report, Google is considering charging for premium search results powered by artificial intelligence.

The tech giant is said to be exploring several ideas about how to use the technology, including incorporating enhanced search tools as part of its premium subscription services.

The Financial Times says that under the proposals Google's main search engine would remain free to use, with additional content available to those who pay a fee.

The Coordinated Lunar Time, or LTC, would provide a time-keeping benchmark for lunar spacecraft and satellites that will require extreme precision for their missions.

However, it’s not going to be a straightforward thing to set up, time unfolds differently on the Moon compared to how it is perceived here on our planet, due to the difference in gravitational force.
