Two BP bosses bag £700,000 in bonuses

Dudley: the BP chief executive sensibly waived his 2010 bonus

BP awarded two directors bonuses worth almost £700,000 for their work in the year of the company's lethal Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

But while new chief executive Bob Dudley waived his pay-out, finance director Byron Grote and Iain Conn, BP's head of refining, took home bonuses of £380,000 and £310,500 respectively, on top of salaries worth £800,000 and £724,000.
