Eros reports growth despite rupee’s fall

Bollywood film producer Eros International said today that the rupee's decline against the dollar and delays to four major film releases because of the Mumbai terrorist attacks have caused it to suffer.

But the AIM-listed group posted a 7% rise in pre-tax profits to $48.4 million (£29.5 million) for the year to end-March thanks to strong growth at TV and new media.
