Donald Trump’s Dubai business partner was today eyeing a fresh post-Brexit push into the London property market.

Hussain Sajwani, the chairman and founder of Gulf-based developer Damac, has already invested some £600 million in the capital through its Versace-branded Aykon London One tower in Nine Elms.

Sajwani is understood to be planning a second investment on a similar scale in the months ahead.

London One was Dubai-listed Damac’s first major scheme outside the Middle East with developments in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan and Lebanon.

Billionaire Sajwani has had ties with the US President’s business empire since 2013 when it launched the Trump International Golf Club, which was opened in February.

Trump, who has courted controversy over his business interests since winning the White House, and entertained Sajwani at a New Year’s Eve party in Florida, said he turned down a fresh deal with the Dubai developer in January.
