Daniel Stewart issue raises £1million

Small-companies stockbroker Daniel Stewart has raised £1million from investors to boost its balance sheet.

The broker placed more than 52 million new shares at 0.25p each. That compares with a share price today of 2.6p, which values the company at £7 million.

The firm also announced the appointment of Christian Wiss as head of sales. He arrives from NZB Neue Zürcher.
