Cenkos Securities founder Andy Stewart quits

Millionaire Andy Stewart today quit Cenkos Securities, the stockbroker he set up five years ago.

The 58-year-old racehorse owner, who holds a 22.5% stake in the firm worth £18 million, stood down as non-executive deputy chairman.

He gave up the day-to-day running of the firm a year ago when he moved from chief executive to executive deputy chairman. Stewart became a non-executive in February.
