There was more good news for serial investor Peter Dubens today with soaring returns from his private equity fund Oakley Capital Investments.

Oakley reported net asset value of £2 a share for 2013, up 10.5% from £1.81 the previous year.

Net assets increased by 8.5% to £246.9 million. Oakley invested in two funds, Fund II LP, which backed sailmaker North Sails, and Fund I LP, which counts Time Out London and New York among its assets.

Dubens’ Oakley Capital Management will welcome stockpicking star Neil Woodford, who will launch Woodford Investment Management, with more than £3.6 billion under management including funds from wealth manager St James’s Place, to the fold at the end of the month.
