Selena Gomez released her hit Save the Day a year ago but now the actress and singer is hoping to do the same at sportswear brand adidas, where the gloom continues.

Gomez has launched a new range with the world’s second-biggest sportswear flogger, as it today admitted it was cutting its profit margin forecast.

Last week adidas issued a stark profit warning, which it blamed on the poor performance of its golf business and impact of the volatile Russian rouble.

The sports brand is also boosting spending on advertising and opening more of its own stores.
