Belgravia's Jeeves takes aim at football stars

Luxury dry-cleaning is on the up despite tougher times for the rest of the High Street, Johnson Services Group declared today.

The firm has expanded its Jeeves of Belgravia brand in the first half of this year with an opening at St Paul's in London and its first venture out of the capital into Alderley Edge, Cheshire - the enclave of wealthy Premiership footballers and the moneyed northern business set.

Johnson will open another Jeeves store later this year. "The performance of the new stores... gives us confidence that this brand will continue to grow successfully," it said. First-half profits rose 5% to £6.5 million.
