Working on Oscar winning films such as Aliens and Braveheart; with James Cameron, Mel Gibson and Cubby Broccoli, don’t miss this opportunity! Paul Tucker will offer practical advise on the highs and lows of film-making. Having worked with major players on significant productions around the world for over 30 years, his wide-ranging experiences and the tales he has to tell cannot be found in a text book. Working for Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions for 10 years as their Head of Production/Producer - Europe on films such as Braveheart, An Ordinary Decent Criminal and Kevin and Perry. Other credits include 101 & 102 Dalmations, Star Wars, Alien & Aliens, Superman I & IV, Live and Let Die, The Man With The Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me and Never Say Never Again. He is a member of BAFTA and The Production Guild of Great Britain and is currently working on a major international epic. The 3 hour talk at Shepperton Studios will give you a rare opportunity in an informal atmosphere to learn about and discuss film-making with Paul Tucker. Starting at 11:00am there will a buffet lunch break and a coffee/tea break. The final 30 mins will be devoted to a Q & A forum. The session will finish at 3:00pm A buffet lunch and refreshments will be included in the cost of £125 pp. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow film enthusiasts and potential industry colleagues.
